So many people think that they can get away with anything just because of their position and/or connections. If judicial justice is unattainable, then extra-judicial justice is very tempting. If something were to happen to someone close to me and I couldn't get justice through the usual channels, then hell yeah I'd arrange other means. BTW, I'm not surprised that report came from Al Jezeera. They are one excellent news service. In many ways it reminds me of BBC and CBC. It is also possible to hire a hitman to hit you to get instant infamy or attention. A hitman is a useful tool that the moneyed class learned to manipulate for diverse purposes.

im not surprised with these... they do need a stable day job. hits doesn't really come that too often. also, a lot of bandits already went down from the mountains mingling with ordinary citizens. that's why i no longer mess with tricycle drivers.
